Bridging the gap between code and
cultivation.

I am Bine Rithika, founder of  Binary Harvest and a researcher dedicated to "Frugal Science." I engineer accessible AI solutions that solve critical food security challenges for small-holder farmers in India.

It all started back
at Manajipet

Standing in my grandparents' fields revealed the silent, devastating war farmers wage against invisible pests.

From Observation to Innovation

The story didn't end with the struggle in Manajipet; that was just the problem statement. To win this "Silent War," I had to leave the field and enter the lab. My research wasn't about abstract technology; it was about building exactly what I saw was missing in my neighbor’s hands in Collabration with Ms. Amita Mathews ,

Researcher ,Imperial College & Dr. Aroul Rosario, Instructional Design expert.

Follow up research

My journey did not conclude with the open-source application. We went a step further by developing a Telugu-based crop simulation platform, enabling farmers to identify the most effective fertilizer combinations for improved crop health and yield

BINE RITHIKA + BINARY HARVEST

Binary Harvest is my upcoming agri-technology startup, created with a strong focus on improving the welfare and livelihoods of the farming community. Leveraging my background in computer science, I am working to build intelligent, data-driven solutions that help farmers make better decisions, reduce crop losses, and adopt more sustainable farming practices. The vision behind Binary Harvest is to bridge the gap between advanced technology and grassroots agriculture by making AI-powered tools accessible, practical, and farmer-friendly. This initiative reflects my belief that technology should not remain limited to laboratories or urban spaces, but should directly benefit those who form the backbone of our food systems. As Binary Harvest continues to evolve, I am actively developing, testing, and refining solutions with real-world impact. My Rough sketches

Rather than building one perfect solution immediately, I learned by building many imperfect ones — each project refining my understanding until I converged on a research-driven system for agricultural resilience.
